A carer to suit your needs...

We will always strive to appoint care workers best suited to you, taking into account not only your individual needs and requirements but also your personal beliefs to build a long lasting and trusting relationship.

Providing the Best Care Possible

We know that our staff will always play a very important role in service users’ lives, and there we will endeavour to do the following:

  • Employ staff in sufficient numbers and with the relevant mix of skills to meet service users’ needs.

  • Provide at all times an appropriate number of staff with qualifications in health and social care as required.

  • Observe recruitment policies and practices which both respect equal opportunities and protect service users’ safety and welfare.

  • Offer our staff a range of training which is relevant to their induction, foundation experience and further development.

Our Recruitment Process

We have a rigorous recruitment process to ensure we only employ the most suitable carers. We carry out a face-to-face interview before obtaining references from previous employers and conducting an Enhanced DBS check (formerly CRB check).

Staff Training

All of our care staff undergo mandatory training in multiple subjects. These cover the necessary basics such as Moving & Handling, Medication, and Basic Emergency First Aid, as well as more specialist subjects such as Dementia Awareness, Stroke Awareness, Safeguarding, and Mental Health Matters. Prior to their full employment they will also receive 2 weeks of induction training.

During their employment our care staff will also work towards obtaining The Care Certificate and their QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care.

All training is updated and refreshed on a regular basis throughout their employment.

During Employment

Throughout their employment spot checks and appraisals are carried out to ensure our staff are upholding the fundamental standards supported by CQC.

Management are available 24 hours a day to provide ongoing support and assistance to our care staff.
