Personal Care
We offer a range of practical help and support to people who require assistance in their own home with everyday personal tasks due to their illness, incapacity, infirmity, or social need.
Personal care services we can offer include: washing, bathing, showering, dressing, toileting needs, and continence management.
Our care staff can prepare and cook meals to suit the individual dietary requirements of the service user. Our staff can also cook shop purchased ready meals. Assistance with feeding can also be provided if requested.
We can also assist the service user to prepare and cook their own meals, therefore promoting independence.
Meal plans can be created for service users that are at risk of malnutrition and dehydration. Charts can be provided to record food and fluid intake for those that need to monitor their weight or nutrition level.

Domestic Work
Our care workers are able provide a range of household tasks that the service user may require assistance with, or may no longer wish to carry out themselves. The care worker can also work alongside the service user carrying out domestic chores to maintain independence for as long as possible.
Services we can offer include: vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, cleaning kitchens, laundry, ironing.
Our care workers can carry out shopping on behalf of the service user or accompany the service user on a shopping trip. The carer is also able to assist with creating a shopping list and checking what items are required. Upon returning home, all items can be put away if required and a receipt will be given to the service user.

Appointment Visits
We can arrange for our care staff to accompany service users to health care appointments. Assistance to arrange appointments can be provided if necessary. This could include hospital visits, GP visits, eye tests, dental appointments etc. Having a friendly face to accompany the service user can often make health care visits less daunting. The care worker can also, if necessary, accompany the service user into the appointment to provide valuable assistance in liaising with the health care professional and present themselves as an advocate for the service user.
Going on social outings can prevent a person from feeling isolated, and help them to remain a member of their community. Whether a service user simply requires assistance to and from their chosen activity or wishes to go out accompanied by one of our carers, we can help meet their needs.
We can also provide support calls to a service user to enable temporary respite to their carers or family members. This can be tailored to your needs.

Overnight Care
Some service users may benefit from assistance throughout the night. This may be particularly important for those individuals who suffer from dementia or have recently been discharged from hospital. Our overnight calls typically begin at 10pm and finish at 7am, although this can be adjusted depending on the situation. The care worker can assist the service user into bed and out of bed if necessary. If throughout the night the service user requires a trip to the toilet, a glass of water or anything else that will relax them then a care worker will be by their side.
Having to organise and prepare your own medication can sometimes be daunting and confusing, and so our care workers can provide various levels of support, ranging from a gentle reminder to the full assistance of taking medication. We can liaise with pharmacies for medication to be put into a blister pack to enable full independence with medication if that is preferred. A record will be completed and kept in the service user’s home of all medication administered by our care workers. We can also liaise with healthcare professionals and pharmacies for the ordering, collecting, or delivering of medication.
Our care workers complete medication training that is updated every two years to ensure they are working in line with the latest regulations and guidelines.

Palliative Care
The quality of care provided to a service user in their final days is just as important as the quality of life they have experienced prior to this. Privacy and dignity will always be maintained, and their comfort and wellbeing will be attended to as per their wishes. This can be a very stressful and upsetting time for both the service user and their loved ones, and we will ensure that our care workers will provide care in a respectful and thoughtful manner. We liaise with other health professionals throughout this time to ensure a dignified and pain-free passing.
We endeavour to provide support to family, friends, and loved ones before and after the passing of the service user.
If there are any services that we are unable to provide ourselves, such as gardening or decorating, we will be happy to assist the service user with arranging this.
We pride ourselves on being a friendly yet professional service. We feel that we often go above and beyond what is expected of a care agency. We not only provide care and assistance to our service users, but we also ensure that we put the needs of family and friends to the forefront of our minds, often providing a listening ear or a shoulder to cry on.
